Chad + Natsuko’s story feels like it was always meant to unfold in its own time 💕 They first met back in 2016 at a church summer camp—Natsuko chaperoning students visiting from Japan, and Chad part of the camp staff. A simple beginning, one of those “just crossed paths” kind of moments. It wasn’t until later, when Chad joined a mission trip to Japan to serve communities impacted by the devastating tsunami and earthquake, that their connection truly began to grow into something more. And just as things were starting to fall into place… the world shut down. COVID marked the start of their long-distance chapter—one filled with patience, resilience, and a love that refused to be rushed. They never felt pressure to get married, but as the world shifted and immigration policies became more uncertain, one thing became clear: they simply wanted to be together, without anything standing in the way of that. In a time where so much feels heavy and divided, their story is a reminder that love is still powerful, still worth fighting for, and still exactly what this world needs more of 🫶🏼 . . . .
