So, while I was on a (semi) hiatus (still am), I was preparing this series, with each one having its own separate mini-comic. This is my first time drawing comics, so there's lots of room for improvement!!! (-∀-`; ) Other than that, the rainy/overcast weather is also something new I tired out!! hope I achieved the right mood(;ﾟ∇ﾟ) Although this is a comic written for my OC, Vera, It actually resonated a lot with me as well. No one else could offer the boundless love and devotion that he does. She is his world, his everything. His care to her is absolute, but it is a care that hangs heavy, like a weight neither can escape. Reko lives in near silence. When he's not working, he's painting. Sometimes it's nature that fills his canvas, but most often, his brushstrokes capture memories. A moment from the past, a time when he felt whole, when he didn't feel alone. He paints them not just to remember, but to preserve them, as if he's terrified they'll slip away from him, just like he lost the partner and love of his life. Vera watches him, caught between unexplainable feelings of burden. Despite everything, she knows that Reko paints not just for himself, but for her too. Each stroke and scene from the past, is a piece of his heart, a memory he refuses to let go of.
