Working between Toronto and Manila, Keavan Yazdani (@keavanx ) builds images that move across mediums, from screen to page to object. From documenting early studio sessions to co-creating album art and stage design, his practice continues to expand through a close-knit circle of collaborators.
For Yazdani, the process remains deeply personal. “I’m making things that help me understand myself and bring the inside out,” he says. Guided by a constant push forward, he adds, “Forward motion is the only motion. Slow motion is better than no motion.”

0000V120222023 ‘LOLA Q’ PINYA BARONG JERSEY
An item inspired by our nostalgia and love for throwback basketball jerseys, a sub-culture that shaped our childhoods and served as the basis of our future design tendencies. Infused with traditional Filipiñana materials and techniques, the jersey reimagines luxury & the cultural Filipino ‘Barong’ under a contemporary silhouette and design approach.
An ode to Kobe Bryant’s 2004-05 alternate Lakers jersey, this project serves as the foundation for @joaquina.world ’s product division, @LINOLEAU ®, and it’s design ethos moving forward ~ an amalgamation of nostalgia, culture, and exploration.
