The elusive Linnaea borealis, the twinflower, and namesake of my business. This flower is known to generations of children in my family as the small woodland wildflower that was searched for every summer along the cool, mossy banks of mountain streams in Colorado. It was found in the same special places where the fairies lived, so the hunt was always done with great enthusiasm. 🧚🏻♂️

You are there with a group of creative, curious women, each mesmerized by their task to delicately balance lovely spring flowers upon the head of beautiful young woman. Workshops can be a wonderful way of exploring your vision and learning about yourself in a supportive environment. They have given me the go-for-it confidence I needed.

What began as a small cutting garden and fists full of zinnias for the schoolteachers grew into an irresistible passion to share the things I could create with my blooms. Hi there. To those who have sat tight with me as I’ve set myself on a new path.
I’m returning to social media with a renewed sense of creative purpose and a wish to share my art. I finally broke up with my long time crush- the practice of medicine- and am taking the dive, full-time, into those things that wake me up at 3 am, full of unbridled curiosity and passion. My medium most recently has been flowers, as I cannot breathe without considering their beauty, the tangled way they grow in my garden and the comfort I feel when I’m placing their delicate stems, one alongside another. There are other loves I have, including the feel of fiber and the weaving of fabric, the study of color and texture, the connection with the natural world, and relationships with those I find in my path. I feel the world is offering me the time and space to be healing in a new way and it feels amazing! Thank you to @luckymalone for this photo of me breathing deeply😊
