@linked_techno It still blows my mind how far this journey has come. What started as just an idea has grown into something bigger than me: a community that is built on inclusiveness and unites people through music. That has always been the heartbeat of LINKED. I launched LINKED in Stellenbosch in December 2019, at a time when I was struggling to be taken seriously as an artist. If no one would give me a platform, I decided to build one for myself and for others. Techno wasn’t big in Stellenbosch back then, but I leaned in, and along the way I discovered my passion for events, hospitality, and creating spaces where people truly connect. Since then, LINKED has grown, from hosting incredible international artists to building a local roster we’re proud of. We have breached out into the heart of Cape Town where we have found home in Mødular Night Club. Through it all, I found my sound after years of persistence, and today I’m committed more than ever to pushing South African Techno forward. But LINKED has never been just about the music. It’s my passion project, built to give back to the scene and to create moments where we feel like ONE. Sometimes we lose money, but it has never been about that, it’s about the energy, the unity, and the memories we share together. To the LINKED community: thank you. Still trying to find the words after this past week… I’m honestly blown away. The love and support at the event meant everything to me. From the moment doors opened until the very last track, both floors were packed and the energy never dropped for a second. Seeing all of you show up, vibe together, and create that kind of atmosphere is something I’ll never take for granted. It wasn’t just a party, it was a moment, and we built it together.
