Todays my birthday and I can’t help but think about how my nephew should be celebrating with me. I always joke w my brother ab how in no time me n his first born would be outside together— but he wasn’t mine to keep. we’re visitors on this planet and when it’s time to go, who are we to question it?
God knows how gut wrenching and anxiety ridden these past weeks have been. Christmas was insufferable, nor will it ever quite be the same. And if I’m keepin it a buck, ts don’t feel real. I’m jus hoping I’m stuck in a fucked up dream that I haven’t figured out how to wake up from yet. My chest is heavy, my eyes swell with tears at the thought of you, my hands sweat thinking about how I couldn’t save you.
Alhamdulillah though, always. I’m grateful for the time we did spend together. You were my first baby, we grew up together. I can’t wait to see you again.
Jenoup said “energy never dies, just think of me and I’ll be there.” I been praying that’s how it works, bc I miss him so much.
