Musiclovers! Listen up: next session will be a very special one, since we have the honor to host Jankas dad Michael! He has been collecting records for decades and comes all the way from Darmstadt to curate and play a session for us!
One hour. One room. One record player—a journey through decades of music history.
Michael has been collecting records since the 1970s—not out of nostalgia, but out of passion. Every LP in his collection has its own moment, its own story. Over the years, a musical universe has emerged: from jazz of the 1940s to indie rock-pop and singer-songwriters, through 1960s soul to the present day.
What awaits us: music by well-known and lesser-known artists. Music in various languages. Music from different genres and decades.
It’s about sharing music that might (hopefully) surprise you, perhaps evoke memories, or simply strike the right chord. Those who listen will hear the familiar in a new light and discover the unknown. And perhaps, in the end, you’ll realize: It’s not just about the music. It’s about what it does to us.
