Line Depping

This brush is the seed in the the serie ‘Unfolding’ for @munkeruphus.dk It is made of douglas, and have a burnt surface. The brushes is dark goathair.

This brush is painted with a mixture of clay from Bornholm and buttermilk which is a natural binder. The brush hair is hemp fibers. The brush is part of my contribution to ‘Af jord er det kommet’ on @munkeruphus.dk

‘Wide care brush’ 2025 Douglas fir and white goat hair. The goat hair is tied with a thin yellow string.

I have tested different fibers for my brushes for the upcoming exhibition at munkeruphus ‘Af jord er det kommet’ I will continue the exploration, of different fibers and hope to find good local alternatives. @munkeruphus.dk

Serving Board in solid maple wood from my own production. Here I use it as a tray for white goathair for my sculptural brushes.

Preparing for the exhibition ‘Af jord er det kommet’ for @munkeruphus.dk I got a skin from a danish wallisergoat, so the brush hair I use comes from Denmark. Most hair for brushes comes from china. #brushmaking
