In honour of celebrating achievements — I’m ecstatic to announce this win! YEAR OF THE DRAGON aka strawberries / the only son film Giran and I have been pitching since ‘23 is selected for Official Competition at #TIFF50 @tiff_net !As children, we’ve often made films from our adolescent perspectives. For this film, we tried to see the world through the eyes of an elderly mother — she who carries everyone’s weight on her own shoulders. This is a universal love letter to all mothers. This film marks the 1st production of my burgeoning company @sublime.pictures (follow for more! ) It could not have been possible without our most dedicated cast and crew.
