From my limited expereince I can say this is the most beautiful house/restaurant that I ever visited in Indonesia.
I mean, seriously, why people spend billions to have so minimalistic or out of the top design that screaming IM RICH if you can make a house so beautiful like this. This place is what quite luxury and old rich money and 7th generation wealth type of rich, mean.
This type of house should revive and studied and recreate more and reborn again and again everywhere. Replicate this even from ground up to all the touch from historic style furniture. More ultra rich should recreate something like this instead weird houses.

Finnaly I can feel my hair as real as it can be. Its been a month I felt like wearing a clown wig.

Of course, this is deeply subjective—anyone who knows me understands my love for all things vintage. And this Dutch colonial building, enriched with authentic Javanese vintage furnishings, is simply extraordinary. That’s why, for me, @hotelmajapahitsby stands out as the most beautifully preserved boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in across Indonesia.
Beyond its visual charm, this place carries layers of history. As an Indonesian, stepping into this building felt like stepping into chapters of my own country’s past—moments of significance that unfolded within these walls, stories that continue to echo today and have grown into urban legends. That historical depth makes the place even more fascinating.
But what resonates most personally is how the hotel brings together heritage, design, and culture. Every detail—every piece of furniture, every architectural element—creates what I can only describe as a beautiful blend of vintage luxury and cultural soul, embodied perfectly in the form of a hotel.
Thank you for preserving this remarkable building. I truly appreciate how its original charm has been maintained, untouched and authentic. And I absolutely love the vibrant life that surrounds the hotel—an energetic contrast that makes its timeless elegance stand out even more.
