I wanna say a huge thank you to everyone who was involved in the making of this album 🌈🌈🌈
To be totally real there were times when I thought it wouldn’t see the light of day.
This has been a journey for sure, a gradual, and slow move towards self acceptance of who I am and the music I create (still en route!).
Releasing this album was a promise to myself to honour my creative voice, against all of the negative self-talk that I know many other artists and creators can relate to.
In a world that is literally aflame, watching atrocities committed daily through the lens of our phones, it’s hard sometimes to feel like making art is of any real impact to the world.
But I also know that music and art is at the core of who we are as people, it’s what moves us and keeps our spirits alive.
I know that my music isn’t having any impact on world affairs, but if it can even bring moments of lightness and uplift, even just within my little echo chamber, so that we can all continue to show up in the world and try and steer this sinking ship towards a better future, then maybe it has served some kind of a purpose.
So here it is, from me to you, hand crafted with care and love and hope <3 🌈🌈🌈
