The gallery is now closed for a few weeks while our Founding Director Louise goes on Maternity Leave. The first of our Maternity Series exhibitions opens 4 June, more details coming soon....

Introducing: The Maternity Series
Liminal Gallery’s Founding Director, Louise Fitzjohn, will be on maternity leave from June 2026 – April 2027.
During this time, the gallery will continue through The Maternity Series, a programme of exhibitions led by Liminal artists and their invited collaborators.
The series offers an opportunity for artists within the gallery’s network to take on the space, presenting solo and group exhibitions while continuing the spirit of the programme.
A new chapter for the gallery, and an exciting moment for the artists who shape it.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Liminal Gallery so far, for the kindness, encouragement and everything in between. I hope you’ll continue to support our brilliant artists as they take over the space with a series of exciting and unique exhibitions.

It was so lovely to see so many familiar and new faces, Margate really spoilt us with a spectacular sunset. A special thanks to Dame @traceyeminstudio for joining us too 👑
And an even bigger thank you to Andrew Torr for creating so many beautiful new works, so exciting to see how his 'Estate' paintings have developed.
