untitled_ 2026 feels really personal to me. Because 5 years ago… this wasn’t a reality. It was just a dream. We asked the question: What if we built something we’d never seen before? It was the end of 2021. We had launched Generation Distinct a year and a half before and seen young people start coming through our purpose cohorts. … But we knew there was more for them. We didn’t want to just create an online experience. We wanted to create a comprehensive strategy that would take a young person all the way from the first initial dream all the way to fully walking out their PURPOSE. And to accomplish that, there was one more essential offer we needed to build: A three day experience, a creative immersion, that would change their journey towards PURPOSE forever. I remember sitting with our team, dreaming it up… and then deciding to go for it— even though we had no blueprint, no guarantee, and honestly… a lot on the line. We pulled together whatever we could raise. And then we built it ourselves in the scrappiest way we could. It was all hands on deck. Our whole team got together all spring to paint sets, build systems, find vendors, sell the tickets, drive U-Hauls, lift heavy loads, load & unload cars, pulling all nighters over and over again— not because it made sense on paper, but because we believed giving young people the ACCESS and OPPORTUNITY and SPACE and BELIEF to take the next step into their PURPOSE mattered so much that it was worth the sacrifice. We invited a small group of young adults who had completed our Generation Distinct Purpose Cohort to take a risk. They came to Chicago from around the nation. They said yes to something they didn’t fully understand yet. But I’ll never forget that room. Because that’s where untitled_ was born. And now… 5 years later, we’re here. So every week leading up to untitled_ 2026 on July 23–25, I’m going to share moments from the journey, not just to look back, but to remind us what’s possible when you say yes before you have it all figured out. Because we’re not just celebrating what’s been built. We’re building what’s next. And… you’re going to want to be in the room for this one.
