𝟮𝟳 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝟭 𝗠𝗮𝘆, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲
Founder and former artistic director of CandoCo Dance Company, Adam is conducting a workshop aimed at professional dancers, theatre practitioners and students in training, which will explore how the improvisational space can be understood both through group co-operation, generosity and courage to take the moment when it arises as soloist, duo or trio. The workshop will help participants recognise, support and transition through these different moments in performance, working with movement, stillness, space and voice.

Limerick City and County Council Announces Festivals and Events Grant Call 2026/2027
Limerick City and County Council's Festivals & Events Team is pleased to announce the opening of its Festivals and Events Grant Call 2026/2027, supporting a vibrant and diverse programme of cultural, community and large-scale events across Limerick.
The competitive funding call will remain open until 16:00 on Friday, 10th April 2026.
A total fund of €283,625.00 is available to support festivals and events taking place in Limerick between 1st October 2026 and 31st December 2027. This continued investment builds on the Council’s long-standing commitment to strengthening Limerick’s reputation as a dynamic destination for festivals and cultural experiences.
Funding Strands
Applications are invited under three distinct strands:
Strand 1 (S1): Delivery and Programming of Small and Community Focused Festivals and Events
Strand 2 (S2): Delivery and Programming of Medium and Large-Scale Festivals and Events
Strand 3 (S3): Festival Development and Sustainability
These strands are designed to support the full spectrum of festival activity in Limerick - from grassroots community initiatives to major flagship events, as well as fostering long-term sustainability and growth within the sector.
Supporting Limerick’s Festival Ecosystem
Since its introduction, the Council’s Festivals and Events Grant Scheme has played a key role in enhancing the county’s cultural offering, supporting creativity, tourism, and community engagement. The 2026/2027 scheme continues this strategic investment, encouraging innovative programming, collaboration, and the development of high-quality events that reflect Limerick’s unique identity and cultural richness.

Visual Artists Ireland Artist & Curator Cafe
The Arts Offices of Clare, Limerick, and Tipperary, in partnership with Visual Artists Ireland, invite you to the Artist & Curator Cafe - a one-day networking and professional development event focused on 'Creating Your Own Exhibition Opportunities', at Nenagh Arts Centre, Co Tipperary, E45 CD52, on Tuesday, 21st April.
Artists who attend the event are also invited to submit an expression of interest for An Open Call to present their work at the showcase. Selected artists will present slides of their practice and receive a €50 presentation fee. The selection of artists practices will be curated by Dr Marianne O’ Kane Boal.
