When you live in Orange County, San Diego is the perfect place for a quick getaway. Annie’s Canyon, Terra Bella Nursery and Sunset Cliffs were definitely highlights!
As a long-time @gilmoregirls fan, strolling through Stars Hollow on the @wbstudiotour was a dream come true! How is it that I started watching the show relating to Rory and now I’m older than Lorelai?😆 Any other Gilmore Girls fans out there?
Re-visited our car-camping days with a one night stop at @carpinteria.state.beach 🌊 Took a stroll during golden hour 🌅 Enjoyed smash burgers from @dang.burger for dinner 🍔 Survived 40 degree weather bundled up in our tent 🥶 Rewarded ourselves with delicious breakfast sandwiches at @brassbirdcoffee the next morning 🍳
Missing my daughter on National Daughters Day, but excited that today is her first official day of classes at @ucla 💙💛🥹(This emoji captures my feelings so well.) When the move-in assistants saw our packed car, they asked if both of our kids were moving in!🤣 We said our good-byes after eating lunch at The Study. Umm, when did college cafeterias become so fancy?

First full day in NYC: Walked the High Line from the Vessel/Hudson Yards➡️Little Island➡️Starbucks Reserve Roastery➡️Chelsea Market. The High Line is such a great way to take in public art and architecture without worrying about being hit by a car (or e-bike)! 😬 Ended the day with a little shopping for n’s 16th birthday.🎉
Spring break in NYC!🍎 This trip felt extra special since it might be our last as a family before our daughter heads off for college.😭 Walking around Times Square was just as I had imagined: crowded, chaotic and crazy.😂

@teamlab_borderless is a must-visit when traveling to Tokyo, especially if you are with teenagers. We almost couldn’t find our way out at the end, but I suppose that’s part of the fun!🤣 Have you experienced a @teamlab exhibition?
