Would you like to try using an extra robotic thumb?
Come to Cambridge, UK for a fun robotics weekend.
The university of Cambridge and MRC Cognition and Brain Science Unit are inviting children age 8 to 12 with upper limb differences to try out a new robotic thumb which is uniquely 3-D printed and designed to adapt to your limb and enhance how you interact with the world around you.

Our second taster day is confirmed for the 29th May!!🥳
It will be during the half term running from 10am-1pm!
The day is open to anyone aged 5-25 with a disability: including physical, intellectual or visual impairments, who would like to come and try out athletics for the first time!
Come and explore the different events that para athletics has to offer - whether that’s ambulant sprints, jumps or throws, testing your strength at a seated throw or trying out one of our racing wheelchairs, we want you to experience it all!😁

With loads of different sports to try, it’s a fantastic opportunity for young people to get active, build confidence, and have fun. Koalaa will be there supporting the cycling sessions, and thanks to funding from LimbPower, children interested in cycling can be fitted with a sleeve and Sarah tool to take away on the day!
