Building Teddy’s world. The house Teddy that lives in, we built form scratch outside Henley-on-themes Oxfordshire uk. Years before the village in #Timburtons #sleepyhollow had be built on that same estate.
Initially the idea was to build the exterior and interior there so the set became a real living breathing environment for the story to play out. But the basement would be built more traditionally on a stage at a studio. That was until on one scout Yorgos suggest we build the basement underneath the rest of the house for real. The following images are of the finished house. Some of the build in progress a couple of Antonio’s concept and my first scribble after reading the script initially.
