My debut EP is out today on streaming and bandcamp. The three songs that make up “The Past Is Breathing Now” are chock full of relief, wholeness, and overwhelming joy. Funny enough, I’m feeling all three of those things right now.
This project has been a year in the making and changed shape and length a couple of times. But its constant has been the many loving hands that shaped it. Steph, Audrey, Cassidy, Bram, Rocky, Asa, Max, & Sam, thank you for breathing life into these songs. It’s the biggest blessing and privilege to make music with people I love, people I can goof around with, and people I trust so wholly.
Brimming Over is particularly special to me, written in a time of such joy and euphoria that I felt like a cup about to overflow. I told my friend Abby this and they taught me the Hebrew phrase “Kosi R’vaya” [my cup runs over]. Brimming Over was first a short poem, then a song that poured out all at once.
Thank you thank you thank you. Tomorrow, we celebrate at @thebitterendnyc . More2come soon, for real🌱💌

Nineteen is out now on streaming & bandcamp🎂my first release in 3 years, and the first of many coming soon.
When I was nineteen I had a world-bending crush, but didn’t tell the person my feelings until nearly five years later when we happened to reunite on a train. Nineteen is about how memory makes time fluid — how a single admission or recounting can send you hurdling back. The past is not static, it is a living, breathing being waiting for its turn off the bench.
Like most things I love, this song exists because of the immense talent and dedication of my friends. @audrealism & @cassidyideah sang harmonies, @rocky.dantonio played bass, @bramsilbert played drums and electric guitar, & @asalevite played even more electric guitar. @kinriverworks and I co-produced and he masterfully mixed, and @frickinanna masterfully mastered. The cover art (last slide) is a photo of me by @spacey._.macey , edited by my awesome dad.
I can’t wait to share the rest of the EP with you soon. Your support means more than you’ll ever know. Listen when you find yourself feeling sooo nineteen, it really is a distinct feeling!
Piano four hands moment with @audrealism on a new song of mine <3 thank you @juliettelolamusic & @porchlight.presents for putting on a magical house show last Friday 🌃

I’ve deeply missed releasing music, and for the past few months I’ve been cooking up my debut EP — a folk-rock triptych called “The Past Is Breathing Now.” The first single, “Nineteen,” will be out everywhere on 2/27 and I’m over the literal moon to share it with you.

Helloooo musical community and all lovers of performance and experimental art. Come on out to November Variations 2025, a series of free meditative musical explorations for deep listening. November Variations 2025 brings back clarinetist Stuart Bogie and organist Buck McDaniel to Church of Our Saviour for a new chapter in their celebrated meditative concert series. Each evening unveils a one-of-a-kind composition, inviting audiences into deep listening, stillness, and musical community.
I have had the honor of witnessing these two instrumentalists improvise together and it is something close to magic. Grateful to be playing a small role in assisting with these events, and I highly urge you to experience it for yourself one lovely evening the week of November 17th. RSVP link in my bio.
