First impressions and emotions from the opening of the @estonianpavilion_merikeestna ✨
Larger-than-life canvases, magical brushstrokes, happy artists, mothers and babies. Vernissage speeches that brought tears to your eyes, music, inspiring conversations — and, of course, group pictures.
As the 61st Venice Biennale opens, Merike Estna represents Estonia with “The House of Leaking Sky”, painting live while wearing a Lilli Jahilo collection created as part of the work. A study in strong, intentional femininity—black dresses, red accents and signature collars inspired by the artist herself.
On view May 9-November 22, 2026. Available exclusively via pre-order.
