I created „Besen“ for @comicinvasionberlin . It has been broadcasted this May in the Berlin U-Bahn on @berliner_fenster_bf . Later I made a booklet out of it.

Of the about 3700 butterfly species that exist in Germany, around 95 % are moths. Most people associate with moths gray, dusty insects flying tirelessly against lamps at night, eating holes in wooly jumpers or establishing maggots in food stocks. But actually only a few of them are „pests“. And if we take a closer look, we can see how bizarre and filigree patterns adorn their wings and how colorful many of them are.
As a result of man-made climate change and our irresponsible treatment of our environment, about half of all moths in Germany already are endangered or threatened with extinction.
