Join Lilith in the songs and stories of those who came before us, our ancestors who fought our same fights. We honor their sacrifices by continuing to fight for the uplifting of women, trans, and non-binary folk, whose stories so often are buried, untold, or forgotten.
Come out to hear a world premiere by Regina Stroncek, and music by Hildegard von Bingen, Andrea Ramsey, Reena Esmail, Melissa Dunphy, and our Artistic Director, Laura Nevitt.
February 14, 8:00pm, St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Cambridge MA
February 15, 6:00pm, Grace Episcopal Church, Newton MA
Join in supporting Lilith’s mission. In our 4th season, we are expanding to three exciting concerts: Unholy, Lineage, & Resistance.
This fundraiser supports singer pay, composer commissions, professional photo shoots & recordings of concerts, sheet music, maintenance of our social media and website, and more.
Donations of every kind are welcome, as well as spreading the word!
We hope to see you at our 1st concert of the season, “Unholy: the stories of Lilith & Eve” on 10/18 & 19!
Lilith Vocal Ensemble's 2025-2026 Season Announcement!

We’ve heard the biblical creation story told, but often only from that one perspective. What is Eve’s side of the story? And what of Lilith, Adam’s first wife? She is often left out completely, as many women have been throughout history. Come hear Lilith Vocal Ensemble share the often untold, yet fascinating stories of the first two women, Lilith and Eve.

Mezzo soprano @barefootmezzo (she/her) is an artist whose joie de vivre lies in inventive art song: reviving, reinventing, and connecting repertoire to create imaginative narratives. The "Barefoot Mezzo" moniker comes from her preference to perform without shoes.
Do you identify more with Lilith or Eve?
Eve: She conversed with a snake & ate fruit straight off a tree. Could see myself doing the same...
