Part-Timer is now streaming, go run it up!!
Our first EP ever!!! I wrote it over the course of 2 days back in January. Winters are always a quiet period for us; We usually take months off until spring rolls around.
Artistically, I wanted to keep with that seasonal feeling, doing more with less. The challenge being to write a full story arc across 5 songs. I usually get an hour, this time around I wanted to see if I could do it in 12 minutes.
Realistically, After seeing all the things our last LP awarded us -support slots with bands we grew up listening to, great reviews, festivals we dreamt of playing, and even some things I still can't even tell y'all about yet- I was at a crossroads asking myself if I wanted to fully pursue music. Honestly, I'm still not 100% sure it's for me but I came to the conclusion that I am at least ready to try.
And that's the whole point of Part-Timer. You don't have to be sure, you just have to be open to trying. It could work out, it could fail, but I put myself out there and gave it my all. No more standing in my own way. There's an opportunity here and I'm going to take it. Which has always been terrifying to me. But we're gonna see how it goes!
I hope y'all enjoy it. We're so grateful to y'all and everyone that worked on this project! 🩷
