Die Geschichte von Dust to Dust (Part 1):
Es begab sich vor drei Jahren im Februar 2023, da fuhren Lightning und Nelly zusammen in den Westerwald um in der Einsamkeit gemeinsam Songs zu schreiben. Dazwischen kamen viele andere Sachen, andere Bands, ein Baby, der zunehmende Verfall der Weltordnung, aber jetzt drei Jahre später ist einer der Songs namens "Dust to Dust" im Internet zu hören.
Maßgeblich am Entstehungsprozess beteiligt waren ein Hexenhaus, eine Saunagrotte, Eisbaden im Fischteich, Wärmeflaschen und der Westerwald.
Julia Zech und Nathan Bontrager sind beide seit Jahren in der europäische Folk-Szene aktiv.Als Duo liegt ihr Schwerpunkt auf dem zweistimmigen Gesang des frühen amerikanischen Folk. Begleitet von Fiddle, Banjo, Gitarre und Mandocello, decken sie die gesamte Bandbreite, von Mörderballaden bis hin zu Liebesliedern ab. Und vielleicht spielen sie uns auch etwas, dass zu Halloween passt...
