To move forward, we must remember where we’ve been.
Here’s to moving onward—refining the process we began, deepening the relationships we’ve built, and welcoming new challenges with intention.
To staying curious.
To chasing dreams
To seek inspirations.
To creating with pride.
To learning a new skill
To finding your passion
To being stewards of living our truth.
Thank you for an amazing and eye-opening 2025, my friends. May the year of the fire horse light the fire within that you didn’t even know you had ♥️
As @cinematics28 and I are scrambling, squeezing in a photo session before movers show up to de-stage the Wabi Residences, our personal development project, a sense of gratitude came over me.
The Wabi project was the reason why I decided to seriously pursue a creative career after having to stage two houses in a short window to get them ready for the Modern Home Tour in the spring of this year. Seven months later and the opportunities that have been presented, the support from everyone, this community, I am now knee deep in the world of creativity, surrounding myself with like-minded friends from all walks of life. More to come…
P.S. @cinematics28 thanks for the raw shot, friend!

Texture you can feel..
In this space, we focused on the sensory experience of design. By pairing the raw, tactile nature of the stone with the architectural warmth of the vertical-slat walnut credenza, we created a visual balance that feels serene and grounded. The sculptural curve of the armchair isn’t just a seat; it’s an invitation to slow down.

FOR SALE: 4022 N Hills Dr
$2,095,000
Iconic 1962 Midcentury Modern in coveted Northwest Hills — meticulously maintained, thoughtfully updated, and dripping with vintage cool from the moment you pull up. Set on a generous .35-acre lot complete with a 3-car garage, pool and new casita (2023), this is the one that actually lives up to the listing photos. The open-concept main house (3,517 SF) features high beamed ceilings, two distinct living areas anchored by a statement fireplace and custom built-ins, a dedicated dining room, and plantation shutters throughout. Natural light pours in at every turn. The stunning kitchen is the heart of it all: gorgeous stone countertops, high-end appliances, wine fridge, breakfast bar, walk-in pantry, and unobstructed views to the pool. The primary suite features a large walk-in closet, modern bathroom and a private door out to the backyard. Three additional bedrooms include one currently living its best life as a showstopper dressing room (easily converted back) and one with a Murphy bed for ultimate flexibility. There is tons of storage for an open concept home including deep closets, coat closet, custom storage in the garage and large attic. Step outside to the outdoor entertaining area with a covered patio, fun tile, outdoor kitchen, gemstone lighting, outdoor shower and low-maintenance turf. But the main event is the casita and resort style pool that is already fenced with loungers and waterfall. The casita features a kitchenette and full bath with a separate door for the pool. Big ticket updates covered: roof & gutters (2024), HVAC (2020), hot water heater (2019) plumbing & electrical (2019), paid-off solar pool heater (2022), and a whole-house generator (2022). No HOA. Walk to highly rated Doss Elementary and Murchison Middle. They don’t build them like this anymore — and they certainly don’t finish them like this.
From boardrooms to East Austin Studio - an un-corporate creative studio for the un-corporate me.
After a long career in commercial banking, I’ve officially made the transition to a career in design. What began as a hobby to keep my edges sharp is now a reality: a dedicated space for Interior Design and Artisanal Print Shop in the heart of East Austin.
We aren’t just a studio; we’re a gathering place. Whether it’s for a curated art show, a weekend pop-up, or just a good conversation, the doors are open. Thank you to everyone who supported this “un-corporate” evolution. Here’s to chasing dreams!

We believe great design begins with listening and honoring what exists before introducing what does not belong. This room was never about adding more, but about revealing what was already there - the arches, the stone, the geometry of the architecture.

Great staging isn’t about filling a room.
It’s about understanding volume, flow, and proportion.
In multi-level spaces like this, every placement is intentional — honoring sightlines, scale, and architectural rhythm.
Spatial intelligence is our core strength.

We’ve been receiving more requests for mid-century vibes lately. Here’s a throwback to one of our favorites — our contemporary interpretation of a mid-century revival.
Clean lines. Warm woods. Low-slung silhouettes. A nod to the past, designed for the way we live now.
