(Poem: We Are the Ones Weâve been waiting for / Hopi Elders)
The Light Forest Emerging Earth Residency brought together a small group of changemakers for a three-day residency (October 2025) at @nomadturtle_ /Kad Sala co-living space in San Pa Tong, Chiang Mai, Thailand. In collaboration with @planet.health.together & School of Public Policy CMU
In addressing the climate crisis through the lens of planetary health, this residency experimented with spiritual-based policymakingâan approach designed for inner, cohort, and ecological connection, speaking both to the mind and heart.
Weâve prepared a report capturing our approach and what emerged, woven into speculative narrative:
đ Connections between self, community, and planet
đŞCircle of Light
đł Stillness and forest connection
đ Nature Wisdom Council
đľđ˝ Messages from ancestors
đŽ Transformation through imagination
đľ Music and ritual

Looking back on the Emerging Earth Residency
It was an honor to be with so many inspiring souls, coming together to reconnect with themselves, with each other, and with the earth.
Shared conversations that made the mountain feel lighter and the sky look a little clearer.
Being surrounded by changemakers from different walks of life reminded me that hope isnât far, Itâs here, in all of us, when we choose to show up.
Thank you @lightforestworld for organizing , settling in and letting us hold the space. đđ
Beautiful video from @miguel_sambe đ

New offering for the Choirâ!!
Synchronizing with natural time | a vocal somatic practice starting 15.5 at 10:00 CET held every 13 days to support our entrainment with natural rhythms.
The voice informs the mind of the reality of body - in the truth of the moment - while the law of time opens new horizons for synchronization with all that is.

You know, this question troubles me.â¨
We have access to more free information about the world than any generation in history. And somehow we are still not acting at the scale or speed required. I am curious about that gap. It is the same gap as me having all the information I need to make a change in my personal life and still choosing not to.â¨
I do not think the gap is information. I think it has to do with underlying unquestioned beliefs that shape relationship.â¨
We have tried to fix this from the outside but the outside is just where the problem shows up. It is not where it lives.â¨
These are the questions at the heart of Healing Narratives. â¨Four days in Bali. June 2026. Small cohort. Deep work.
Comment âMotherâ and I will personally send you the full invitation.
The climate crisis is a story problem.
We canât solve it with better technology or smarter policy if the underlying story stays the same.
Healing Narratives is literally that work. Changing the story at the root. Bali, June 2026. 12 places.
Swipe to see why it matters. Link in bio if youâre ready.
Species loneliness. The quiet grief of living estranged from the rest of creation. The sense that something is missing you canât quite name, because the thing thatâs missing is a relationship that once was ordinary, and is now almost gone.
We were not built to live only among humans. Our nervous systems evolved in conversation with wind and soil and the sounds of other creatures. When I tune into that missing energy I get the image of TV static, a lost signal. And that silence and disconnection has a weight to it.

Our political and economic institutions are crumbling, after taking the Earthâs natural systems to breaking point. This is the metacrisis, born from broken stories about who we are in relationship to each other and the earth.
â
In the collective, narratives of separation, domination and fear are the only stories that are amplified. We have inherited a world built on them and they shape us, what we build, what we value, what we think is possible.
â
Building new systems starts with healing the narratives both within us and outside us. By recovering the stories that were there before, stories of humans being inherently collaborative, caring and living in right relationship we can begin to birth the stories that reflect worlds we want to inhabit. Come join us in Bali as we inquire into what we hold as truth and rewrite our futures. All information can be found in the link in our bio. We cannot wait to co create with you.

In just a few hours we were able to touch on some deeply held narratives. Since then weâve met online, itâs been great to see the sustained interest, which tells me the workshop outcomes were not just a random flicker.
Cities around India are in need of deep imagination. Only by exploring the hidden roots, can we radically transform.
Starting with ourselves.
I hope we can bring this lens to Mumbai next!
Bangalore: From Garden City đł â IT City đť â Conscious City đ§A beacon for India to bring together development, health, and ecology.
Bringing Light Forest thinking through a Futures workshop at @blrhubba@futures.blr.hubba@bicblr was PLAY.
Met many Bangaloreans who are tired of old narratives and exploring new ones. They are the beacons of light amidst the ecological ruin that haphazard urban development has broughtâbased on outdated worldviews and beliefs.
The path to regeneration starts by each of us questioning these and imagining what might be possible when we start to find new beliefs that resonate with a life we want to liveđą
This video features some beautiful zines sketched by @purposewithpals from the workshop & music from @akramvio who performed right here at BIC the night before. Grateful to @paper_jennypinto for inviting me to join, Dr Nareshâs intellectual & wise grounding, @vipashadevitilak for curating this space for transformative futures.
Grateful to be at @futures.blr.hubba@blrhubba where weâll be running a workshop to guide Bangalorians on a reimagination journey of their city on regenerative lines.
A collaboration with a guest of the pod Naresh Singh & @paper_jennypinto .
If youâre in BLR and would like to join dm me. The workshop is free and open but currently booked out.
I was invited by @tedxchiangmai to share a Light Forest view of Climate Crises, part of the @ted Actions for our Future.
While Iâm standing on the stage, really Iâm just channeling the collective wisdom of all the guests on the @lightforestworld podcast and Emerging Earth residency into this short talk.
I know I can talk and talkâthis one was capped and condensed to just 5 minutes.
Filing this under one of my highlights of 2025.
Proud and grateful to the community that surrounds me every day.
