Virtual Array isn’t only great for adjusting copies of your design after you’ve laid them out, you can also use it to make symmetric edits to a single design. Adjust a handful of settings in the Grid Array window, then get to work and watch the changes propagate evenly around your design.

Use your keyboard’s arrow keys to nudge objects in your Workspace by set increments. Combine Ctrl or Shift with the arrow keys to move in smaller or larger increments.

The Rubber Band Outline tool makes a new shape outlining all shapes in your current selection. The generated shape uses the shortest possible path that can still contain the shapes of your selection.

Offset Fill mode is a variation of Fill Mode that tells your laser to etch concentric lines following the outline of your shapes. It’s designed for graphics with a lot of empty space, to cut down on the amount of travel time needed.

Offset Shapes is a powerhouse of a tool with lots of use cases, from embellishing existing graphics to making brand new designs.
If you find yourself using it a lot, and with the same parameters each time, here’s a tip that will save you tons of time — hold CTRL/⌘ while pressing the Offset icon to re-use your last-used settings without having to reopen the Offset window.
