WATER DREAM MEMORY Sara Bonaventura, Lukas Taido Curated by Eriberto Eulisse
UNESCO Office in Venice, Palazzo Zorzi 1 May – 28 June 2026
Curated by Eriberto Eulisse, “Water Dream Memory” explores water as a threshold element — unstable, elusive, and constantly negotiating the fragile territory between presence and disappearance. This liminal condition reflects the contemporary ecological crisis: fragmented, uncertain, and frequently imperceptible.
Presented during the 61st International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, the exhibition brings together works by Sara Bonaventura and Lukas Taido selected by the Global Network of Water Museums, a flagship initiative of UNESCO Intergovernmental Hydrological Programme.
Part of the S+T+ARTS Aqua Motion programme, the exhibition translates scientific data into visceral imagery and spatial tensions, tracing ancestral geologies as they flow through our biological present in Bonaventura’s “Thermal Alchemy”, and examining the intersections between hydraulic heritage and contemporary logistical infrastructures in Taido’s “Intermittence”.

Portuguese Artist #PedroCabritaReis, on the occasion of the 61st International Art Exhibition – #LaBiennalediVenezia, returns to Venice at Magazzino del Sale 3 - #FondamentaZattere allo Spirito Santo, with a radically different gesture: XIV Steps, a cycle of fourteen paintings inspired by the Stations of the Cross and created especially for Venice in 2026.
Here the Artist engages with the dramatic narrative structure of the Stations of the Cross, a theme whose resonance extends far beyond its theological origins. As famously observed by Barnett Newman, the Stations articulate a universal reflection on suffering, endurance, and the human condition, dimensions that find renewed expression in this cycle of paintings.
Until November 22!
Join us in Venice at Palazzo Corner della Ca’ Granda and Aman Venice for “Possible Landscapes” by Charlotte Colbert.
Curated by @yasminehelou , the exhibition unfolds across two sites along the Grand Canal. A monumental sculpture stands at Palazzo Corner della Ca’ Granda, with four installations in the gardens of @aman_venice . Together they form a mystical landscape where reality and fiction blur.
Working in polished stainless steel, Colbert’s sculptures act as portals into worlds shaped by myth, memory, and the unconscious. The exhibition invites curiosity, wonder, and a renewed sense of collective imagination.
Now on view through September 30.
