So this happened. I am humbled to have been accepted as Singapore's first and, at the time of this post, only @iclsociety member. To be honest, I wasn't even informed that I was considered a member since April two years ago, but better late than never I guess? 😂 For me, being a member of ICLS is all about community, so here's to lifelong learning and self-improvement, and to sharing my knowledge with past, present and future generations in my community. - Haikal Ismail, ICLS

BTS on Prudential Flying Start 2026. ------ Happy to have had my own flying start for 2026 on the live events side of things. Live show programming and operating still gives me mini heart attacks as a gaffer that's used to the comforts of the ability to go for re-takes on the cine side. Show by show, the mini heart attacks get fewer and further between though. Thank you to everyone involved for the good show! Onwards and upwards!

MDDI x NLB | The Albatross File Exhibition (VP Segment) Back with yet another segment of the one with the "Official Secrets Act" NDA. Once again, now that the cat's out of the bag, I'm proud to share some stills of what we shot over in @auxinfinitestudios Virtual Production stage. Being that this was meant for a multimedia exhibition with some very interesting concepts (you gotta go see it for yourself), the aspect ratio for most of the stuff we shot were framed and meant for a super wide screen. I'm talking 6144x1600px... That's almost 4:1! I took the liberty to double stack the stills in the carousel this time around for obvious reasons. Resorts World Sentosa | Singapore Oceanarium TVC Bloop Bloop, that's right - the biggest aquarium in Singapore just got bigger earlier this year and we made sure to make a big splash out of it. We faced many restrictions for this one, as we always do when filming with animals and children, but to add on to it we also did this while the place was still under construction.
