A brand new wild typeface appears!
‘Spinelo’, our new typeface, designed by Antoine Brun
@brundille_ ✍️
Spinelo is a typeface belonging to ‘Glypheon’, a collection of four subfamilies initially focused on butterfly metamorphosis, which later evolved toward a broader concept of evolution inspired by Pokémon.
Each glyph becomes a living entity, mutating according to its typographic environment and the needs of the design. Each style functions as a regional variant, a form that adapts, shifts, and evolves.
A sans-serif sitting between humanist and grotesque, designed for body text (but for text meant to be seen). For those who believe ornamentation is not limited to display fonts. Its main reference is Antique Olive: rounded edges, an organic feel, and a quiet yet distinctive presence.
Through its many glyph variants, Spinelo offers a richness that opens up multiple creative directions for graphic designers. Versatile enough to work both in display and body text, its alternates allow designers to emphasize either legibility or visibility. A small toolbox filled with endemic glyphs, tailored to your needs.
With an extensive set of glyphs, alternates, ligatures, and pseudo-monospace features, Spinelo offers users multiple ways to compose designs.
Comes in 6 weights, ranging from Extra Light to Black.
