I’m so grateful to God for everything and season that He has led me through even when I didn’t understand at the moment because they have prepared me for what is coming and the new chapter of my life.

People often assume the loudest voice in the room, the one who posts the most or speaks the most “Christianese” is the most “on fire” for God.
But that’s a dangerous marker of spiritual growth because it encourages performance.
Performative Christianity is subtle, and it’s easier to fall into than you think
It can look like:
– feeling pressure to always sound a certain way.
– shaping your faith expression based on who is watching
– only engaging deeply when there’s an audience or affirmation
– comparing your walk with God to how others appear in theirs
– losing the personal parts of your relationship with God
And slowly, things become more about visibility than really getting to grow deeper in our understanding of God.
In my opinion, performative Christianity is also tied to people pleasing.
It’s so common because ppl care too much about what others think and try to match their expression of faith to what is deemed acceptable .
This is just a reminder that God invites us into a real, rooted relationship with Him and not one based on insincerity 🤍

I told someone I’ve known for a while that I “started” content creation lol.
They looked visibly confused and shocked
as I shared more about when I started and the journey so far.
when I finished, they looked at me and said,“I feel like I’m meeting you for the first time.”
That felt like a compliment to me because I never used to be the type of person to share about myself or do things that made me stand out.
It reminded me how much has actually changed and I realized growing will introduce people to a version of you they’ve never met before
and sometimes, you won’t even realize how much you’ve grow until someone else shares that with you!
This is just your reminder: don’t shrink to stay familiar.

Some days I have ZERO motivation and still get things done…
not because I feel like it
but because I stopped relying on motivation and started doing these:
1. The 5-minute rule
Set a timer for 5 minutes and just start.
Once I’m in, it’s way easier to keep going.
2. Pair hard or boring with “fun”
Workout + YouTube
Meal prep + phone call/ podcast/ music
I make boring tasks feel lighter.
3. My “why” folder
Vision boards, Bible verses, milestones, kind words…
I save them to remind myself why I started and push through.
4. Nostalgia boost
Old songs = instant energy.
I play music from years ago and I’m hyped to keep going.
5. Speak life out loud
“I can do hard things.”
“If I keep going, things will work out.”
It actually shifts my mindset.
And some days I’m honest and just rest.
Knowing when to do this is very important
Save this for those days when you feel unmotivated and close to giving up 🫂
