what the fffff thank you strangers for recording my performances but why are they disappearing off the internet 🙀 only a few screen recordings survived 💪 anyway i'm trying to get back on my 15-17 year old train. performing in thrifted dresses costing between $3-$20 (the $20 one was also my prom dress). i hated performing with all my heart but the trick is to keep your eyes CLOSED BITCH ☠️ swipe to watch me fool the audience with a coda + my taiwanese elementary school orchestra playing rossini's barber of seville 😭 + me playing with my dress tag out 🤣 shout out to anthony wu for shouting bravo in the first clip LMFAO.

posting my stop motion final for attention tbh.... i seriously half assed this (the puppet, the set, the animation) but i still think it's kind of sweet.... i only animated every shot once even if it was imperfect (i'm lazy lol) but from the start i knew i wanted a look that reflects karen yasinsky's stop motion work. the music is from the last scene in tsai ming liang's the hole (1998)

i just think this is a perfect paragraph from colette -- extracted from her last book, the blue lantern. the first time i read this was on the train, and i had to put the book down because i realized the material was too significant for public transit reading 😭 it's about the cinema experience but somehow i thought she was talking about life and death....

two minutes of me experimenting with clothes. my favorite way to wear it is at the end of the second video!!! i was inspired by cdg f/w 98 (fusing garments together) and wanted to play around with buttoning like those vivienne westwood pieces. and when i put it on, the two shirts split down the middle reminded me of antoni and alison s/s 2013. that interview with antoni brought me to tears....

so i decided to share the whole musical number after all.... this is tsai ming liang's most unhinged movie, the wayward cloud (2005) i would NOT recommend watching this if you've never seen tsai's movies. the ending is so fucked up it might turn you off from him completely. [redacted]'s dad told me he showed this movie to his class without having seen it before and thought he was surely going to get fired.... i don't own the movie or music or whatever the fuck i just want more people to watch tsai ming liang 👁️👁️
