🌞 About half of my time is spent on commissioned work and there’s something really nice about working within clear briefs and gentle boundaries. Especially as a contrast to the wide open possibilities of a blank page.
Client projects often push me in new directions, introduce me to ideas I wouldn’t have explored on my own, and spark inspiration for my personal work. These illustrations were created for NHA’s 90th anniversary, which made this project extra special 🥂🩷 #nha #liekeland
🌈 Found this old Playmobil helicopter in pieces by the side of the road today. My boys and I turned it into a little rescue mission and rebuilt it together 🚁
