Elmont quietly has one of the most exciting fine dining experiences on the island, and it deserves a spot on your list for your next special occasion. @seratabykingumberto is bringing true fine dining to Long Island—and it’s every bit as elevated as you’d hope. We chose the 5-course tasting menu [$145pp], which means each of us got to select our own courses. The 8 course is $175pp, but each person gets the same 8 courses. From the first welcome bites (served with a complimentary glass of brut from Sparkling Pointe) to the final cordial and take-home gift, the experience is designed down to the smallest detail. Chef @nicholasibeck trained at Eleven Madison Park, and it shows immediately. The precision, the creativity, the attention to detail—this is the kind of meal where every course starts a conversation. Long Island has plenty of great restaurants, but this is something entirely different. The hospitality deserves its own spotlight. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely excited to walk us through each course, making the meal feel as special as the food itself. And a huge shoutout to Chef @cascella.luca -the bread service alone is worth booking a reservation. House-made breads, flawless texture, and craftsmanship you can taste in every bite. The food was incredible, each dish was not only delicious but perfectly plated, thoughtful, balanced and just really well executed. What really stands out is how much they give you beyond the meal itself-it all adds to an experience that feels celebratory from start to finish. A NEW spot just opened in Malverne 🥤👇🏼 @tropicalcocolongisland is officially open and they’re doing coconut drinks, smoothies, and bowls that are beautiful & delicious😍 Are you a coconut lover?! Than this spot is for you - We tried the matcha “pop n coco” and it was soooo good. They crack the coconut right in front of you and pour it straight into your drink. Doesn’t get any fresher than that! We also ordered the rainbow breeze smoothie, sparkling lychee rainbow, and taro coconut milk. All different, all worth trying! Food surprised me in the best way. Dumplings, karaage fried chicken, shrimp bowl, beef teriyaki bowl. The crispy coconut balls are a MUST. Don’t skip those. Super crispy on the outside and creamy and sweet on the inside.
