BIG NEWS! The brand new Lichfield Echo newspaper is now out in the wild in Lichfield and will be heading across to Burntwood and surrounding villages over the next couple of days. It was a mammoth collaborative task and we’re very proud of it, there’s not a single line of negativity in its 48 pages, and we’ve already distributed 2800 newspapers of the 5000 that arrived this morning.

Just come out of the appropriately named ‘Kings’ Treatment Centre after visiting a very healthy and happy looking Jono. The operations have gone well, the doctor popped across and was very encouraging, so likely he’ll be moved to the renal ward for some checks and then getting him back on his new, dainty, feet after a very long time horizontal.
He’s been delighted by everyones support and is itching to get back to supporting Lichfield x Scott
Simon Price insists that “afternoon tea is nothing without homemade cake”.
So this will be on offer at Arthur Price’s special free weekend-long event celebrating International Afternoon Tea Day.

Vicky explained how her own experiences led her to explore therapies including hypnotherapy and breathwork. This helped her better understand the connection between emotional trauma, the nervous system and physical wellbeing.

Hundreds of school pupils have been equipped with vital life-saving skills following a two-day ‘Stop the Bleed’ training programme delivered across six local schools.
The initiative was supported by @lichfielddistrictcouncil and involved training provided by the @citizenaiduk charity.

Militaria specialist Jeff Clark says the King Edward VII Imperial Yeomanry Long Service Medal is “a good example of a scarce medal from the King’s reign and will doubtless be of great interest to collectors”.

James Lewis, a 26-year-old football coach from Rugeley, is attempting to dribble a football more than 2,000 miles from Africa to Staffordshire to raise money for St Giles Hospice!
The challenge is deeply personal. James lost his father, David Lewis, when he was just 11 years old. David was cared for at St Giles, and it was that experience which first inspired James to fundraise for the charity.
