Fuse Festival is where music, culture and community come together in the heart of Lichfield.
Free to attend and open to all, it transforms public space into a shared cultural experience — welcoming thousands of people each year.
But while it’s free for audiences, it’s not free to create.
Behind every stage, artist and performance is a network of support — partners, funders, volunteers and audiences who believe in accessible culture.

Behind every performance is time, commitment and growth 🎶
Our Emerging Talent artists are putting in the hours — rehearsing, refining and preparing to step onto the stage. These are real opportunities to perform, helping young artists build confidence, develop their sound and gain experience in front of live audiences.
For many, this is just the beginning 💗
And next up — we’re turning the spotlight on Friday 30th May.
🔥 Featured: The Hooch
An exciting local rock and Britpop band bringing the energy of 90s classics to the stage. Expect everything from Oasis to Stereophonics and Status Quo, delivered with raw energy and passion.
Formed in November 2024 by four sixth-form friends, The Hooch started out playing school assemblies before moving into pub gigs and charity events — and are now stepping onto bigger stages as part of our Emerging Talent programme.
This is exactly what the programme is about — supporting that next step and creating space for artists to grow.

Two nights. One mission. Emerging talent at its very beginning 🎶
Our Emerging Talent programme sits at the heart of everything we do.
Through development opportunities, live performance and real-world experience, we support early-career artists to build skills, confidence and clear pathways into the creative industry.
This May, that journey comes to life across two live takeover events:
📍 Friday 8th May – Burntwood Rugby Club
📍 Friday 30th May – Emerging Talent Takeover
Each night showcases a fresh line-up of local artists stepping onto the stage — many performing to new audiences as they take those all-important first steps.
Featured in this post is Finn Hawkins, one of the talented artists from our programme — a South Staffordshire College music student bringing a mix of classic and contemporary sounds to the stage.
For many artists, this is where it starts — that first performance, that first audience, that first step forward.
And for audiences, it’s a chance to discover something new — and be part of an artist’s journey from the very beginning.
