A little moment of before and an update on today, just in time for my first Mother’s Day. ✨ This was the day before Tyson was born. Belly and body oil has been a pregnancy and postpartum essential for me. Now here I am, 5 months into motherhood and I'm still using and loving the @puremama_skincare belly and body oil everyday. I just have to be much more efficient with my time these days 😅. Grateful for this body, this journey, and everything it’s carried me through ✨

The nursery I set up in my third trimester. 🐋🐠 I'm not a beige mum 😅. It's been 5 months and we haven't really been going in there other than to nurse in that chair (my favourite chair). I put a TV in there for that purpose. Tyson sleeps in his bassinet next to me in our bedroom, and his play areas are in the bedroom and downstairs so some days we don't even go into the nursery. However, now that he's much bigger, there is talk of this transition to the cot and Phil thinks baby is going to move out to sleep in the nursery. He is kidding himself if he thinks I'm ready for that 😂. That cot is moving into our bedroom. I've already checked to see that it fits through the doorway without needing to be taken apart 😌
The longest days, the shortest nights, and a love that grew deeper than I ever imagined. As we approach the end of the notorious 'fourth trimester', as challenging as it's been, I can't help but feel so privileged and proud of what we've achieved together. These photos were taken when Tyson was only 6 weeks old and he's grown so much since then! He was so tiny in the baby carrier. 🥹
Throughout the last 12 weeks, I've pretty much been living in my favourite postpartum tights by Continuall @continuallwear and cannot recommend them enough. I had an elective Caesarian and the compression tights were what helped me get through the pain in the first few weeks of recovery. I only took them off when I went to sleep and when I had to wash them whenever my baby boy peed on me during nappy changes (my reflexes are much quicker now as a boy mum). By week 6, I was back to moving like I used to and exercising again and I owe it to these tights that got me through this time. ☺️
