I found this shirt on a fresh rack alongside 5 more white single stitched tees, I almost didn’t stay but I decided to give it 5 more minutes.

From 1957-1961 Jim Henson created over 175 commercials for Wilkins Coffee. Wilkins and Wontkins became the inspiration for the Muppets that Henson would later become nationally known for. Having 10 seconds of air time, Henson would portray Wontkins as a negative character who would be violently attacked with weapons such as a knife, gun, cannon, guillotine, and many..many others. In the 90s against Henson’s wishes Wilkins Coffee tried to revitalize the characters through t shirts and running ads but ended up selling the rights in 1992.
