I can’t imagine where I’d be without my dad and his seemingly endless wisdom. He’s never told me what I ought to do without me asking. He’s never really fluffed my ego, or sugar coated the reality of a tough situation. His advice is simple, yet somehow speaks volumes. I want to say I’ve learned as much by observing him as I have by listening. A real Superman. Using his gifts to help others, yet desires no recognition.
Thanks for giving me work ethic instead of a fancy inheritance. Thanks for showing me jazz fusion at 10 yrs old. Thanks for showing me it’s okay to skip the chores and catch some air!!!

@abbylynnoneill has blown mind yet again. She’s truly a bad ass mama.
@abbylynnoneill and I started running around together back in the summer of ‘04. Yesterday we celebrated 10yrs of wedded bliss! We had to reschedule our celebrating to next week due to a sick kiddo, which is right on par for life these days. I’ll take it. The last decade has been a whirlwind. I’ve never made it easy for Abby. Days after we said our vows, I left to go on tour. I came home, we honeymooned, then I was gone again. 1st anniversary, gone again. Many birthdays and holidays were sacrificed while I pursued a dream. Her support never wavered. It still hasn’t. She gets it. She gets me. I can’t imagine sharing this life with anyone else. Thanks for blessing me with the gift of fatherhood (almost 2x now!). Turns out that dream I was pursuing was right in front of me the whole time. Love you Abby!
