Hello world 🙏🏽 In case anyone has noticed a Yaatri shaped hole in their life, I’m here to address the fact that I’ve been absent on here as I’m spending some time figuring some things out. This past year, I found myself disillusioned with music as I’ve struggled to find balance and happiness through the path I was on - turns out trying to make music your life and job IS really tough… After taking a step back, I’ve found inspiration in the people around me who feel similarly and have managed to build healthy, sustainable lives in the creative space. Yaatri started with a very specific vision, and while it’s been one of my greatest joys, moving forward I’d like to open it up to other pieces of my musicality in the realms of songwriting, production and guitaring that I’ve been struggling to find an outlet for. If you’ve made it this far, thanks for listening to my existential ramblings - hopefully this just means is you’ll be hearing more from me in the future. I’m currently spending three months in India reconnecting with family, making music with Zuheb and some new friends, and exploring more of this crazy, beautiful place. Very grateful for your time and love 🙏🏽 See you next year!! - Liam

Hello! Trying not to overthink this whole instagram thing so here goes… After seven years in years it was time for a change of scenery, so I live in London now! Pictured here is Big Bertha, the terrifyingly large vehicle I drove down the M1 with all our worldly possessions. • I’m very grateful and honoured to be part of 2024’s @seriouslivemusic Take 5 cohort alongside some incredible musicians from around the country 🙏🏽 • Evidence of the outrageous calibre of collaborators on Yaatri’s next project (which is almost finished!). @vijayvenkatmusic plays the violin infuriatingly effortlessly, and like nothing you’ve ever heard before. • Miscellaneous adventures including an in the zone @b.ahwe and all that remains of a beautify time playing in Belfast with @jasminemyramusic (Guinness so good you gotta put your face in it) 👋🏽

Hello world, it's time for my annual post where I might say something along the lines of "my band Yaatri is on tour with the incredible @zuheb_ahmed_khan starting TODAY, I've been working on this for an eternity, and if you live in the UK you should definitely come see us!" or something along those lines. • Seriously though, SO much hard work has gone into this, and having Zuheb along is the realization a dream we've had together since 2018. It would really mean the world if you spared some of your time to come check this out 🙏

Emerging from the woodwork to say thank you to everyone who's taken some time out of their day to check out Yaatri's debut album which came out a couple of weeks ago! It's been an all consuming endeavor of about three years, and it feels amazing to finally release it into the wild. Thank you endlessly to everyone who put in their time to help the Yaatri cause. • We've been having an incredible time performing for old friends and new friends around the country for the past couple of weeks, and have some BIG shows coming up this week in London tonight and Leeds on the 9th - it would be a joy to see some of you there. It's a huge week for good news! I'm feeling very blessed to be able to say that in addition to @yaatrimusic being chosen as one of this year's awardees of the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award by @helpmusicians (yay!), @manchesterjazzfestival have just announced their plans to continue to support myself and the other Hothouse round 6 artists for another year! After several months of feeling lost, it's largely due to support schemes like these that I've found my drive again and am immensely excited about all the music I'll be putting out next year.
