Recording a simple dyad chord into the OP-1, Pitching those chords down 12 semitones, adding samples two octaves up, then the Tombola doing its thing, running it all into a compressor through to the Microcosm, which adds texture and space making those rigid synthetic wavetables come alive. So the science behind soundbeds are not really that complex. A early morning mantra. my way of meditating and asking myself how and what I want to feel before the day starts. experimenting with sound effects on arpeggiated chords. I kept the reel short enough for this platform. This practice is much longer IRL. adding subtle changes every few minutes. the warping of repetitive sound help with being aware of the present. not stuck in future catastrophies or past traumas. it quiets mental chatter which makes me focus on a current vibrational state only.
