It always felt incongruent in movies when they show part of the story and then have the little text box that says "five years later..." Except, that's exactly how it feels sometimes. In the blink of an eye, years have have passed since we last visited this place... Returning again to where it all started. Down by the riverside, down by the riverside. Where I laid down my sword and shield... and said yes to love.

We had the most magical shows down in VIC. The joy filling these beautiful venues and the love for the music was REAL✨🙏 Thank you all so much for coming out and sharing the weekend with us. ❤️ Here are some very special snaps from Valencia Creek Hall by @liam.bede 📸 thanks mate 🙏 we reckon they look pretty bloody cool. 😍 Next stop, some gorgeous duo shows back in NSW, then we’re off to the UK for some awesome festivals. 🤩🎪✈️ Aaand- rumour has it that we four are jumping the ditch for a very special series of performances in November… 😉 Join our mailing list for updates! Thanks again for coming out folks, it’s a joy to play our music for you. Much love from us 🤍 P.S. scroll through for Vic’s “oh my god please stop clapping I feel awkward” face 🤣😂🤣 #originalfolk #regionalvictoria #originalmusic #beautifulvenues #lovelivemusic #songsmatter @racheljcello @trentark

Forever tinkering... For as long as I can remember my father has been a tinkerer, woodworker, fencer, a jack of all trades willing to turn his hand to most anything that needed done. Working things out as you go is something that I've learned from him. Willingness to have a crack, even if you don't get it right first time around. Putting all the tools away afterwards, well, we're both still working on that one ;)

I'm quite enamoured with this latest iteration of @r_u_t_h__a_n_n_e 's studio/writing room. A space that shifts and changes, not with the seasons, but following the rhythm of a far more subtle song.

Today and every day, stoked to be Dadda to this little bloke... and grateful for the love and wisdom of @r_u_t_h__a_n_n_e who helps me to be the best father I can be. Happy to be sharing it all with my old man too, a bloody good egg himself and a fantastic grandfather to boot!

Easily one of the best Chinese meals we've had in a long time. If there's a better Chinese restaurant in Victoria please let me know where!
