Thanks to the generous donation of The Auxiliary To Lions Gate Hospital, LGH’s Neurosurgery and Peri Operative Services Departments recently received three new Mayfield headrests and a Glidescope for Anesthesia. These additions enhance precision, safety, and patient care in the operating room. ⁠

It’s BC Youth Week! A huge thank you to our incredible Youth Committee @lghf.yc, whose hard work, dedication, and initiative has raised an outstanding $81,271 through 11 events over the past year. The funds raised have been invested in the Foundation’s North Shore Lend a Hand Fund which supports vulnerable individuals in our community with chronic health care issues.

The recently opened West Vancouver Adult Day Centre offers a welcoming and supportive environment for adults experiencing dementia and cognitive decline. ⁠⁠With a range of engaging activities, including arts and crafts, games, baking and more, participants can enjoy meaningful connection, creativity, and a sense of belonging within a community of peers.⁠⁠The program accommodates up to 20 participants and operates Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm.⁠⁠For more information, click the link in the bio.

A huge thank you to Jenny Karmali and her dedicated team of volunteers for hosting A Celebration of Spring, a Journeys with Heart fundraiser this past weekend in support of North Shore Hospice and the Oncology Clinic at LGH.With their tireless energy, the support of generous sponsors and guests, plus celebrity chef Bruno Feldeisen, media trail-blazer and emcee Pamela Martin, and singer Jane Mortifee, the event was a tremendous success, raising an incredible $25,000 to help patients and their families.@thetravelgroup @brunofeldeisen @janemortifee @ski2skysports
