What’s up everyone!! I’ve been trying my best to be patient while working on this, but now, it’s time, and I get to share some new music with you! Today I’ve released the first video from my brand-new upcoming recording to YT: “Lone Rider”, with @natesmithdrums on drums and Kyle Miles on Bass! I’ve been working on a sound that blends all of the other music that I like with the depth of improvised music, and now I’m ready to bring this to all of you. This session was an absolute joy (big thanks to Nate and Kyle for adding their magic), and I’ll put putting out more videos and clips over the next few months as we get closer and closer to release. I also went down to @spacebomb in Virginia to cook up some melodies with my good friend @coreyfonville and his @butcherbrown partner @r4nd4zzo So look out for that soon 👍🏽 And lastly.. Just want to say that I really appreciate the love and support for the last album and all of the shows. To the Surface has been streamed over half a million times to date, and that’s just the beginning. Grateful for all you, and I’m excited to share more with you soon. Whew.. I’m excited. Just finished the second session for my new recording, with @natesmithdrums and Kyle Miles, and I do feel that between the Virginia and New York crew we’re cooking up something truly special. These are some candid moments captured by @drbrownesq . We also had the great @tyler.scheerschmidt in the studio shooting the official video of the songs for Youtube that’ll be out sooner or later 🔥 And @todd_carder at the board. I’ve been dreaming of and thinking about this project since even before I had the Acoustic Trio. And I’m just too happy that I now get to bring it to reality, with @coreyfonville , @r4nd4zzo , Nate and Kyle. There is much, much more to come soon!!

Whew!! What a great night! Huge thanks to all of you who came to see the new project and showed soo much love ❤️ It’s been a blast experimenting with combining all the different styles of music I grew up with.. And there’s something really special happening at @barlunatico — the vibe is great and it feels like everyone there to have a good time. I had a great time performing and lecturing at the Vermont Jazz Center's Solo Piano Festival. It’s not often that we get to spend extended time with other pianists “on the road”, since we’re always playing in separate bands. Hello, everyone! Due to a change of schedule, I will now be performing at the @vtjazz Solo Piano Festival this weekend! 🎹 I’ll be headlining tomorrow night, Friday April 10th, along with @oui_mathispicard . And I’ll be giving a masterclass on Saturday, along with participating in a panel discussion that evening. Solo piano is such a different form of expression from playing with a group, and exploring in that format is something I’ve always enjoyed. So I’m looking forward to sharing that sense of exploration with you!!

We’ve made it to our very last stop of the Supersonic Trio Euro tour! We’re playing in Čacovec, Croatia 🇭🇷 tonight for the Čacovec Spring Jazz Sprint Festival, presented by @cakovecgradjazza This has been an amazing run, and it’s surpassed the already high bar we had with all the audiences in Europe on the previous runs. I’m really feeling the love, and I appreciate every single person who came out to pack these venues on the trip ☺️ Big thanks to: @elehowell — Drums #KyleMiles — Bass If you’re in Croatia, we’ll see you tonight! And we’re getting additional requests to play other venues even as we’re still out here.. So if you have a place where you’d like to see us on a tour later this year, let us know!

I am beyond thankful for the music and the audience reaction from this tour!! 🔥 It’s been a dream of mine to have both of these bands out on the road — and the love being shown in all of these cities is beyond anything I could have imagined growing up. Big thanks to @elehowell on drums and #kylemiles on bass, for putting so much love into the music, and for being so much fun off the bandstand as well. Also many thanks to all of you who’ve come out to support in all these countries, the people writing to the record label asking about the new recording, and everyone sending all of the kind comments after the shows ♥️ We play at @cakovecgradjazza on Wednesday in Čacovec, Croatia 🇭🇷 as the last stop of the tour. Been waiting to announce this one.. I’m excited to share that I’ll be in Europe this March with my brand new Supersonic Trio on a tour through Poland 🇵🇱, Austria 🇦🇹, Germany 🇩🇪, and Croatia 🇭🇷! Europe has been very kind to us. In the multiple stints that we’ve done with the other band (the Acoustic Trio) since “To the Surface” was released in 2024, the reception and turnout has been amazing, and I’m grateful for it. On this trip I’m looking forward to returning to some venues that are having us back (some of which are already nearly sold out!), as well as to bringing the new band to new places — Warsaw, Hamburg, Berlin, etc. The Supersonic Trio is my new project that blends a bunch of styles of groove-based music that I love with the depth of modern improvisation. Moving forward, I’ll be on tour with both of these groups (the Acoustic and Supersonic trio) in the years to come. So much love to everyone, and we’ll see you on the road soon!! ❤️
