Last week, we toured one of our complex healthcare projects currently under construction, a Proton Therapy Center being delivered using an Integrated Project Delivery approach. Connected at street level to an existing cancer and advanced care facility, the project features a double proton vault with independently functioning cyclotron and gantry systems, the first of its kind in the U.S. The first phase of work included renovations to the existing Radiation Oncology Center. Thanks to our LFD project team for the tour! #HealthcareConstruction #LFDriscoll #ConstructionManagement #LFDConnects #IPD

As part of our Thrive 360 mental health program, we decided to take wellness and team building and to a new level with a relaxing yoga session at Yards Brewing, where mindful movement met great company and even better craft brews. Thank you to our friends at @yardsbrew for the wonderful hospitality and allowing us to bring our team together for an evening of relaxation and thank you to our Penn Medicine Design & Construction team for joining us. Here’s to stronger teams, clearer minds, connection, and a little midweek recharge. #ConstructionManagement #HealthcareConstruction #TeamBuilding #PennMedicine #LFDriscoll #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #Thrive360 #BuiltToThrive #Safety360

We’re looking forward to the annual AMFP Summit in NYC, where Senior Project Manager Justin Lundy will be moderating a discussion on the importance of gathering input from nurses and frontline providers during the facility planning process and how that insight is essential to designing care environments that are efficient, functional, and safe. Join the session on April 16 at the Roone Arledge Auditorium on Columbia University’s campus for an engaging and insightful discussion you won’t want to miss. #ConstructionManagement #HealthcareConstruction #AMFPSummit #LFDriscoll

Precision planning. Seamless execution. Zero disruption. LF Driscoll, alongside Premier Mechanical Services and Shadow Transport Inc., successfully installed a new air handling unit within an active, fully occupied hospital—without compromising operations. To minimize risk and avoid exposing the mechanical room to the elements, the unit was fabricated into six modules and carefully hoisted through an existing door opening—eliminating the need for structural modifications. Working closely with the hospital’s EH&S and facilities teams, we strategically limited the impact of crane operations—coordinating a partial, short-duration decant that even included ICU spaces. By mid-morning, all areas were safely cleared and fully operational again. Complex logistics. Thoughtful coordination. Patient care uninterrupted. #LFDriscoll #ConstructionManagement #HealthcareConstruction

Congratulations to Xavier Stanford and Joe Chipman on being named LF Driscoll's Q1 Safety Champions! Xavier goes above and beyond to ensure safety is embedded into every project long before work begins. He takes the initiative to clarify expectations, deepen his understanding of new challenges, and consistently engage with his team, never hesitating to ask questions. By building genuine relationships with the workers on his projects, Xavier demonstrates that when people know you truly care about their wellbeing, achieving a strong culture of safety becomes that much more attainable. --- Joe Chipman consistently exemplifies outstanding leadership in safety, seamlessly transitioning from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's internal renovation projects to their Roberts Children’s Health Building, an achievement many find challenging. His Safety 360° mindset ensures that safety remains the top priority, with equal focus on patients, staff, visitors, and construction personnel. Respected by colleagues across the board, Joe excels at leading teams, clearly assigning safety responsibilities, and ensuring follow-through to completion. He is also deeply committed to mentoring emerging talent, helping shape the next generation of safety champions. Always positive and leading by example, Joe takes the time to recognize others’ contributions, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to our Safety 360° mission: Everybody, Everywhere, Every Day. #LFD #lfdriscoll #Safety360 #SafetyLeadershipAward #constructionmanagement
