Spring time in Cornwall. It’s been the ultimate mixed bag this year- lots of Northerly winds- a bit more sunshine would be welcome right about now.

I adore these two together. Both bold but understated and elegant.
I don’t say this lightly but I think the blue poppy piece might be one of my favourite I’ve ever made. The colour of the blue is just perfection and the burgundy wiggle works so well in its subtlety.
The red piece is of a chrysanthemum, and I believe this is the first time I’ve drawn one of them (feel free to correct me if I’ve forgotten!). If you like the idea of putting the ‘unexpected red theory’ into play in your interiors, then this could be perfect. Again it’s low-key striking, without being too out there.
I actually think they look amazing as a pair, although both available individually on my website, as the blue and red are just so perfect together.

Some of my dearest friends @moved.by.lou@charlie_jay@jo_pip_ are running @londonmarathon today, raising money for @meningitis_research , which is a charity close to all of our hearts after our amazing @lucye_lawrence was incredibly poorly with bacterial meningitis and we almost lost her. Thankfully she’s here and cheering from the sidelines today ♥️
I’m so so proud and in awe of them and the other runners (looking at you too mega babe @astriddolan ). Go go goooo. ♥️♥️♥️

Last week I had the absolute joy of joys of being invited for lunch at @thelobstershed@the_pig_hotels .
Not sure i can think of a dreamier afternoon than eating delicious food (including my eternal favourite scallops), drinking lovely wine in the sunshine and then pottering around the beautiful kitchen garden. The absolute dream 👌🏼

I think the first piece, inspired by the hydrangeas which are so prominent here in Cornwall over summer, might be my favourite piece I’ve made for a while.
I just love the colours of the frame- it’s hard to photograph but the wiggle is highlighted by burgundy, which just adds a little extra detail 👌🏼. Swipe to the end to see the same detail on the pink geranium frame…

The show is curated by lovely @theforever_curates , highlighting the little glimmering moments in life which need to be cherished and celebrated- a particularly relevant message at the moment. When the world feels so out of control, whilst it’s imperative to engage, it’s also important to keep your head up by noticing the small joys which surround us. For me I feel so much pleasure from the spring flowers which are starting to appear and the ones I’m planting seeds for, in anticipation of warmer days.
The show runs 22-27 April with the private view happening 5-8 on 23rd. Do pop along if you’ve been intrigued about my work and would like to see it irl. There are some beautiful works by the other artists too. ♥️
