Rounding out the trio, it’s Rin!
Very minor thing but I’m glad you can at least somewhat tell she has a ponytail here. In a previous drawing which I otherwise quite like, you couldn’t tell that at all and even tho it’s a minor detail it made her look pretty different
Also forever glad I added that bit of detail to her gloves, it looks so much better!

Been too long since I drew Kotone, or any member of the Enigmatix Club for that matter, so I fixed that!
The journey of drawing her in this form has truly been one of constantly reinventing how I do the shading for that translucent cape in a way where barely anyone will be able to tell the difference 🙂↕️

Some years ago I did a redraw of an older drawing, and I thought “Hey, it’s been a while, why not do another redraw to see how my art has progressed since then?” So I did! It took a little longer than it maybe ought have, but I’m happy with the result!

This month I’m gonna be participating in Fanart Frenzy, which is an event centered around creating art for fanfics!
I started with this, two scenes from Slay the Hedgehog, Save the Future by A_Quill_Made_of_Snow_Briars on AO3! It’s such a niche and kinda silly fic, a Slay the Princess AU/crossover for Sonic ‘06, but heck if it isn’t my exact niche! It starts out as a crackfic which was fun already, but as the fic progresses it turns into a kind of epilogue to ‘06, and it’s really interesting
Creating this art took so much effort, but I really enjoyed the process. In order to mimic the style of StP I had to closely examine it, which has given me even greater appreciation for it! And then applying what I learned from that to illustrating these scenes, it was so much fun! It was also quite the experience to push myself to draw somewhat detailed background again lmao
