Changed my newsletter name! I explain the whole thing in the newsletter (which you can read for free). Lots of good news and hard work ahead!! Welcome to Crow + the Poet, in honor of the crow who died in my lavender and, well, the poets.

This one’s called Family. I really love making squiggly lines. It’s so relaxing, meditative. Like while watching a violent murder cop show on tv. 😂

I still get stressed when I see little me in 1983 narrating the school Christmas play.

Last night on the phone, Rick asked, “Did you know the pacific is as big as the night sky?” and so I wrote a little newsletter about it. Oh, and here are some doodles.

Look at that side eye. To think we didn’t know if we would be able to handle this one because she was so messed up. Now she is just a cuddle bug. Ok, she still has some issues, but we know how to handle them. My girl. 🐶

When I found her a year and a half ago in a ditch, or I should say, when she found me and the other two dogs and followed us home, I brought her to the vet to check for a microchip. Her owner said she didn’t want her. She might be the sweetest dog who ever lived.

Evolution of an image. I drew the skull in procreate and the Tudor rose by hand. I scanned it and superimposed them and fucked with the color. This is nothing special l, but I’m outlining the process I guess because of AI and wanting distance from it. I use digital tools to make what I see in my head happen. Is it just one small step or one giant leap to tell AI what to do?
