Day 2 at the @bet media house, wow. Day 1 I was WORKING, a gentleman came up to me & complimented me on my work ethic and asked if I’d handle his talent for day 2, OF COURSE! Shoutout to @unclecraigdavis ! Then he goes, well it’s @tyrese . As an R&B diva, I lost it in my mind 🤣
Then I was blessed to meet + speak with one of my favorite rappers rn @therealsymba , who is ONE OF THEM ONES!!! If you don’t do anything else today, plssss check him out because my Lord. 🤧 a true lyricist thank you for the hug 🥹.
Also was blessed to see @masterp & jeezy. Y’all know I’m a No Limit Solider at heart. Wow. Just grateful. God is truly, truly amazing. Continue to trust in Him. 🤍

I covered my first NFL draft as media the other day! 🙌🏾 But nothing is overnight. 3 years ago on this day, the NFL Draft came to Kansas City and I was otp with my dad crying. like shoulders shaking crying 🤣
I was so disappointed I couldn’t get any coverage opportunities at that time and was trying to figure out how to even break in the media space with no formal background and training for it..as it was day 1 of the NFL draft. I had also had my masters degree by this time, so I was soooo ready to get to it!
That was the day that changed my life. My dad told me to stop waiting on someone to give me a yes and just go for what I wanted and believed in myself to do.
Through faith, patience and hard work I couldn’t be more proud of myself. April 27th will forever be a special day for me.

To anyone out there feeling discouraged, keep going you got this!!!

Even cooler that a WNBA preseason game will be played here tomorrow for the first time in two decades. God’s timing is perfect.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions. This is why Chiefs Brett Veach traded up for Mansoor, expressing they felt their highest need was CB.
Also he shared that per a predictive data tool, it showed that the Saints at No. 8 also most likely had a CB at their highest need, so they traded up for him and had already been set on him.

The first CD i ever brought was Bow Wow x Beware of Dog!
Last night’s concert was a 10/10 NO notes and definitely was SO good for my spirit. And couldn’t have spent it with a better person, one of my bestest friends! Words can’t describe how bad I needed that! Had so much fun, I love music .. I want to be a song 😭 lol
