We are thrilled to have Ikigai from Nairobi, Kenya, as a member of LExC, the League of Extraordinary Workspaces.
Ikigai (生き甲斐) is a Japanese concept meaning “a reason for being.” Everyone, according to the Japanese, has an ikigai. Finding it requires a deep and often lengthy search of self. Such a search is regarded as being very important, since it is believed that discovery of one’s ikigai brings satisfaction and meaning to life.
There are four Ikigai coworking spaces, including two garden locations and two commercial locations in Nairobi. Since December through March is typically their summer season, we couldn't think of a better destination to go work and play in a LExC member space.

Published on September 14th by Coworking Insights, check out the "2022 Global Size & Capacity Report," which compares the average square footage and workstation capacities of 19,500 coworking spaces in 172 countries. Data provided by Coworker.com.
Noted that workspaces in North America have the largest average square footage at 9,548 SF, and flexible offices in the US have the greatest potential to house large teams, with an average of 115 workstations available in each coworking space. Also, the global average square footage is approximately 7,244 SF.
