hey everyone! We thought it was time for a little update and re-introduction. As many of you know, we’re Lex and Ben, a husband and wife photo and video duo based here in Montreal.
We recently teamed up with our talented friend Aliza @alizadworkind for some fresh new photos, and Emily @petiteagencyco worked her magic on a beautiful new logo for us. It felt like the perfect moment for a little refresh, and we’re so excited to share it with you all. Ben - Sure, he may have an aggressive exterior, but anyone who really knows him knows he’s just a giant teddy bear. Thoughtful, loving, and always showing his appreciation through acts of service. He’ll probably fix something for dinner or make you one of his famous margaritas.
He’s big into the gym (obviously), loves hanging out with his dog, and is always dreaming up the next surf trip—preferably somewhere warm, and ideally somewhere he can convince Lex to tag along to.
Fun fact: his most used app is probably Google Maps. No, not for directions—this man just loves looking at the world.
Lex - She’s the heart of the operation. Fiercely loyal (like, loyal to a fault) and constantly pouring her heart into the people she loves. Whether it’s friends, family, or clients, she shows up 110 percent. She finds joy in organizing (yes, really cleaning), can’t resist a good Aritzia browse (basic and proud), and loves nothing more than quality time with her people. If you need a hype girl, shopping partner, or chatterbox, she’s your girl. Together, we take pride in blending our personalities to give you the most unbeatable wedding team. We’ll bring the vibes, the laughs, the happy tears, and most of all, we’ll capture your most unforgettable wedding day moments with heart, humour, and a whole lotta love.

hey guys, us again!! 🤍 We’re so excited to share this wedding tips & tricks video all about how to get the BEST reception photos possible, think candid moments, emotional reactions, and epic party shots you’ll actually feel when you look back on them ✨ Here are a few of our biggest tips to elevate your reception photography: 1. Seat your VIPs strategicallyHave your CLOSE friends and most expressive guests sitting near where speeches and first dances will be taking place. These are the people who will laugh, cry, cheer, and react — which makes for the most authentic, emotional, storytelling photos. Guest placement truly makes a huge difference in capturing those candid moments. 2. Stay on the dance floorOnce the dance floor opens… stay on it!! The couple sets the tone for the entire party — we always say the energy follows you. If you’re out there dancing, your guests will be too, and that’s when we capture those fun, high-energy, unforgettable party photos. Think packed dance floor, movement, joy, and real celebration vibes. 3. Lighting matters more than you thinkTry to avoid harsh blue, purple, or red uplighting during dinner and first dances. These colors can cast strong tones on skin and are tricky to photograph cleanly. Warm, neutral lighting (like soft amber or candlelight tones) creates a much more flattering, timeless look and helps your photos feel elegant and true-to-life. Trust us on this one — it makes a BIG difference. We can’t wait to capture all of this for you, it’s going to be SUCH a vibe 🥂 xx Lex & Ben

Kristen & Vince — WHAT. A. WEDDING. 💃🌴 A week full of margaritas, dancing, a bit toooo much sun, endless friendships… and not a dry eye during the ceremony 🥹 It’s been such an honour to witness your love over the years. Watching you both grow into the incredible people you are today has meant so much to Ben and me. You bring out the quirkiest, cutest sides of each other and it’s the kind of love that just makes everyone around you smile. Here’s to a lifetime of friendship, endless adventures, and many, many years of love 🥂

He comes with the gear, I come with the giggles, that’s balance, right? 😂 All jokes aside, photographers and videographers are equally as friendly… and we bring the same vibes to the party 🕺💃

HIII GUYS!!! we are back for another tips & tricks video. Filming ourselves is very out of our comfort zone, but the algorithm says “show your face,” so here we are. SO show us some love, and enjoy. Top 3 mistakes we saw in 2025 during wedding ceremonies: Mistake #1: Empty front rowsWe know it can feel a little intimidating to sit up front, but the couple only has so many immediate family members, and empty seats don’t photograph well.Tip: Add simple name tags to a few rows, and have someone (a sibling, friend, or usher) gently invite guests to move forward before the ceremony starts. Mistake #2: Microphone stands in photosThey always sneak into the most important moment.Tip: Ask your officiant ahead of time to move the mic stand out of the way before the first kiss. It makes a big difference in your final gallery. Mistake #3: Bridesmaids photobombing the exitWe love the excitement, but let the couple have their moment. The dress will be just fine.Tip: Cheer them on from the side and resist the urge to fix anything while they walk back up the aisle. That’s all for now. Drop your biggest ceremony mistake in the comments below. xx Lex & Ben <3

When the wedding is this wild, you’ve gotta add in some a cappella 🤣

While engagement shoots aren’t something we typically get around to posting, they are by far some of my favourite sessions. Getting to meet our couples in person, shoot the shit, and learn about who they are and what brings them joy is one of the most beautiful parts of this job. Huge shoutout to Rebecca and Niall, who absolutely crushed this one. Can’t wait for their wedding this summer 🤍✨

Fall weddings in Montreal just hit different. September is basically wedding Super Bowl season here, and honestly? It makes sense. The weather is elite. You get the sunny, glowy days without melting in humidity, and nights are cool enough that you can throw on a cute blazer or leather jacket and not ruin the vibe. No one’s sweating through their dress. Hair actually holds. Makeup survives. We love to see it. The trees start soft-launching fall, not full pumpkin spice yet, but the greens mellow out into muted oranges and warm tones that make everything look expensive. It’s giving romantic, but low-key. And the light? Unreal. The days are a bit shorter, so golden hour shows up earlier, and you get that soft, consistent glow all afternoon. Photographers thrive. Skin looks good. Everyone looks like they’re in a Nancy Meyers movie but cooler. Okay but now I’m nosy … why did you choose September? 🍸✨
